Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD)
The Sexually Transmitted Disease Department is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and preventing sexually transmitted diseases ( chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhea, and HIV).This is accomplished through education, testing and treatment for the infections listed above.
All STD health information is kept in the strictest of confidence, and all lab work is sent to a Tennessee Department of Health State Laboratory.
