Actually, statistical information can guide the actions of individuals and the health of the community. SullivanHealth.org's Epidemiology Team has begun a process of compiling health-related 'Data & Statistics' that may be useful to Sullivan County residents. In addition, we hope to provide credible information to enhance health decisions among leaders in our the region. We have highlighted information that has been previously compiled by State and Federal agencies. Assessment of community health status is one of the three core public health functions identified by the Institute of Medicine's 1988 report, the Future of Public Health.
